About three weeks from the end of the school year one of my advisory board members suggested that I do a survey. "Ask kids to give honest answers to a series of questions".  As I wrote the survey questions I was a bit apprehensive because to me, ministry is about touching lives for the Kingdom of God, not about numbers.  The response we received from 238 kids in 6 of our 21 programs were quite exciting, revealing and over all, humbling.  Has KFCUSA been effective in touching lives?  You decide:

·        63% feel they do better in school because of KFCUSA.
·        45% said, "I have friends that I wouldn't have without Kids for Christ USA".
·        13% said KFCUSA is my only church.
·        70% believe that KFCUSA makes a significant difference in their life.
·        67% have watched mom and dad go through a divorce.
·        42% say that their parents do devotions with them on a regular basis.
·        64 Children do devotions by themselves regularly.
·        The most alarming result was that 127 kids said, "Kids for Christ helps  them  deal with bad situations at home". 
·        71% have asked for prayer KFCUSA. 32 of those who asked for prayer took the time to tell us about answers to prayer including one child who said: "My sister was in the hospital for a week and after I asked for prayer she got better the next day".
·        52% Asked Jesus into their heart at KFCUSA
·        56% (138 kids) lead an unsaved person in the "Ticket to Heaven" Prayer". 
·        These 138 kids have lead 1078 people to Jesus using the "Ticket to Heaven Prayer"!
 
This survey proved and showed a number of things to me.  Two such things are, KFCUSA is effective and Kids can work for God.  One little girl told us "There are two kinds of people, the ones who are saved and the ones who are about to be saved". Imagine the impact that we adults could have if we were as bold as these kids. 
 
These results came from just over 20% of the kids we minister to each week. I truly feel God directing me prepare for every Elementary and Jr. High in the area next year as well as expand into other cities across our nation.  Will you ''partner'' with us in what ever way you feel God leading you to do?  I need you!
