One of the directors of KFCUSA of Sacramento, Liliya Walsh, sent two very exciting emails to us at the National Headquarters of Kids for Christ USA about the growth of the program in her community of Rocklin and the rest of the Sacramento area. We would like to share the bulk of those emails with you.
"Today's Bible club was a huge success. We had 20 children, eight parents and two high school students that I brought to show how we are doing the club. I have encouraged them to start one at their school, and they are now willing to do it. The other parents at the school were very supportive. One mother brought her child, neighbor and one more friend. Another mother said that she will tell as many people as she can. When we mentioned about bringing more friends, one child responded, 'Next time the room will be full.' It appears that soon we will need to ask for a bigger room. The kids were responsive; they loved the songs, games and the Word. The amazing part about today's meeting is we have done very little advertisement. Only a few flyers were distrubuted - not even ten."
The affore mentioned club went from 6 students attending to 20 in one week. If you are a newcomer to this movement and you are interested in getting involved then we would love to chat with you and give you the information needed to get the ball rolling. If by chance you live in the Sacramento area then Peter and Liliya would love to speak to you. Contact us at the national headquarters of KFCUSA and we will put you in contact with them. |
