New Promo Video for KFCUSA |
It's hard to believe that it's already been a over a year since our founder Bob Heath declared that KFCUSA was about to spring into an all out effort to inform the Body of Christ (and anyone who'll listen) that the Bible and Prayer was never removed from OUR schools. Today we are pleased to present our new promotional video with that as the focus. This 3:20 minute video is the perfect balance of facts and fun. Please watch and share it with anyone God lays on your heart. Click the read more button to watch the video.
Also, Bob wants to publically thank Randy Stuehm, Dave Hoffman and Dav Steele for their role in making this video happen. |

Why We Should Teach the Bible in Public Schools.” |

Teachers will want to read the cover story of this
week’s TIME magazine- “Why We Should Teach the Bible in Public
Schools.” Senior religion reporter David Van Biema praises The Bible
Literacy Project and its textbook The Bible and Its Influence, which CEAI
leaders have endorsed and previously highlighted to our members. Van Biema
argues that academic study of the Bible in public schools (as an elective) is
crucially important and writes: |

Every year there seems to
be a significant moment, a message or series of messages that impacts my life,
my team and the kids deeply. Let me say
that I am certain that there have been several messages like that taught or led
by other team members that may be more significant than this, I just haven’t
heard them yet. |

Sales for Insightful Book Benefit KFCUSA |

A little over a year ago one of my advisory board members called me in the middle of a creative rant. The call was memorable not because my close friend Jim Schmidt had a creative idea, but rather Jim was having ideas so fast that he made my head spin. (Also not a difficult task.) The concept was a book of 101 ways to get involved in America's Public Schools. One of the primary ways to reach the schools in Jim's book is launching a Bible Club in the schools.

Change In KFCUSA Podcast Format Coming |
During the spring semester of the 05-06 school year we launched a "Podcast". Podcasting is a format that is design for the ipod crowd. Basically anyone with a computer and a microphone could produce there own show. We asked a group of Jr. High kids how many of them would subscribe to a podcast of some of the meetings. To my surprise the majority of them raised their hand. Three weeks later we began recording the Jr. High messages and posting them for the world to hear as a podcast. Honestly I was never happy with the show format. I just felt that we could better utilize this medium.

Stop Congress from silencing churches! |

The following is an email I recieved from the American Center of Law and Justice. This information should be considered as HIGH PRIORITY and action needs to be taken by all who read it. KFCUSA doesn't share information like this that often, but from time to time we do. We simply must stand up as Christians and American Citizens against Senate Bill #1. Please read on:

Growth Update: Round Rock,TX |
Just a couple of months ago KFCUSA was honored to lock arms with a parent and a ministry team in Round Rock, TX. The potential launch of this club was exciting for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that we would be working with a group in Texas now. One aspect that I found truly exciting is that God allowed me to see how seeds grow. You see, the ministry team leader is a young man I have known since 1999 when he was a 15 year old kid in a youth group I worked with as a "leader". I can honestly tell you that at that time I would have seen him as the most unlikely person to ever step into such a role. When we kicked off KFCUSA in he and his older brother and younger sister assisted me in three clubs in the Tulsa area. My prayer has long been that people would become infected with KFCUSA to the point that they couldn't get away from it. That children and young team leaders would grow up and carry this vision on in some significant way. Jeff (Not his real name) is the first answer to that prayer I have been priviledged to see. |
