More growth expected for KFCUSA |

Last winter I had a dream that I was steering a large building of some kind down a road. (I'm not sure how you steer a building, but I was doing it.) The foundation and first floor were massive and solid. Then, as I looked at the second floor I saw that it clearly needed reinforcements or it would not stay up. I awoke a little startled, but knew what God was trying to get across to me. I heard in my mind the exhortation of a close friend telling me to share the load. “It’s too big Bob, you can’t do it all yourself anymore.” I began praying about it and as the school year came to a close God brought the pieces of the puzzle together.
One thing I have learned in 4 ½ years of Kids for Christ USA is that the summer is critical to having a successful year of ministry in the schools. This summer is no different.
Cindy Frazier became our Sponsorship and Conference Coordinator. She is energetic, organized and ready to make a difference in America’s schools. She has already made a significant impact in her children's school as a Parent Sponsor. Now she's ready to share our vision with some of the area businesses.
Steve Myrter is our New Team Coordinator. Since the goal for next school year is to have 75 clubs running in the Tulsa area and clubs in 20 additional U.S. cities I need assistance in organizing the team. Steve is helping me do that. He is a phenomenal kids minister and has proven to be a true friend of KFCUSA. His organizational skills will be a great asset to taking the ministry to the next level.
Last and certainly not least is the addition of a new Ministry Coordinator: Gary Blodgett. Gary and KFCUSA were connected in his heart before he and I ever met. He told me the first time we ever met that he was connected with us and has proven it. Each of the schools he worked with this past school year grew spiritually and numerically. Gary is truly gifted in connecting with children.
Another part of that second floor (referring to the dream) is the budget of Kids for Christ USA. In the past six months we have added 10 new schools in Tulsa and 2 in other cities. Now we have taken a step of faith and added three new staff members. The area of finances is often the area we are slowest to respond to… when the truth is that often it is where we are needed the most. We have great things planned for this next school year and I just wanted to take this opportunity to personally encourage you to be a part of it by committing to financially support Kids for Christ USA on a monthly basis.
Pray and then commit as the Lord directs you to in your heart.
“With your help, together, we’re reaching a new generation of Kids for Christ.”
