 Adults once again our kids have lead the way and we are dragging behind. I am refering to internet communities such as "Facebook". I know mnay of you Moms and Dads have resisted the very thought for a variety of reasons.
I am constantly searching for better ways to get more people involved in this vision, so that we can reach more and more kids accross the USA. Between the tools on Facebook itself and the fact that many cell phone carriers make "Facebook mobile" available as a part of their servies I have found it to be a VERY POWERFUL tool
We recently promoted an event to benifit KFCUSA on Facebook. I initially sent the invite to 62 people the invite mushroomed to over 300 in about 24 hours. The event was a success and served as proof to me in the power of Facebook. There are other benifits too: Within hours of signing up for a personal profile I reconnected with my old college roomate and one other old friend from 20+ years ago. Oh, and you can keep tabs on your kids better too. I am urging you, NO, I AM BEGGING you PLEASE get a profile and then sign up for the Kids for Christ USA Group.
