In Case You Were Wondering...
Just in Case God is prompting you as he has my wife and I recently to give into something or someone, I just wanted to share some of the needs KFCUSA has at this time.  Some are which could be called "pressing" and some are general funding issues.

Tulsa Based Ministry Touching America’s Public Schools


We all know the statistics: Teen pregnancy and abortion are at an all time high.  Drug abuse has now become an issue even in the elementary schools as well as the high schools.  Suicide and murder among teens is almost common place in our schools.  Oh and lets not forget students carrying weapons to school and so forth.  The list seems endless and somewhat hopeless if we allow it to be our focus.

KFCUSA Teaches Thankfulnes to Kids Across the Land
According to the official curriculum of Kids for Christ USA, kids are supposed to be being taught about "Thankfulness" during the month of November.  I feel it's important to teach kids about thankfulness during November not just because it's the month of Thanksgiving, but because quite honsetly most of us (not just children) are genetically flawed with regard to being thankful.

6th & 7th Graders Hear that God Actually Likes Them
On Thursday 11/3/05 Gyle Smith the Executive Pastor at Believers church spoke to the kids at the Union 6th & 7th Grade Center.  His message was simple, yet profound.  God likes you.  Not only does God like you , but He liked you first.  The question is settled: He really likes you.
