Starting a Club in Your Child's School |
|
|
|
To start a Kids for Christ Bible club in a public school, first, your child must attend the school in which you are beginning the club. Because of the way the laws are written your child/student will actually be the one to sponsor the program. As a parent assistant, you will be responsible for contacting the school principal and presenting the idea to him/her for approval
Once the club is approved it will be your responsibility to be the "host" of these weekly meetings, which includes teaching the weekly message yourself or lining up guest speakers, leading or arranging for a worship time, organizing games and providing a small snack. It is important to realize that the kids will be counting on you to be consistent and that the amount of effort you put forth will radically affect the success of your club.
We'll guide you step by step through the process. Although it may seem somewhat overwhelming at first... trust us... it will be one of the most rewarding activities you will ever take part in.

>> How Are You Doing That?New book written by Kids for Christ USA Founder, Bob Heath, this e-book
answers the request for a step by step guide to starting Bible clubs in
the public schools. Heath said, "The goal was to write a book that
answered the most commonly asked question I've had over the last nearly
seven years: 'How Are You Doing That?' is meant to be a complete step by step guide so that the reader could go and establish a club in any city in the USA". Buy your copy TODAY!
