What does it take for us as Christians in this great nation to stand up and do something?  Aren’t 39 tragic school shootings ENOUGH?  That's right, I said 39 senseless acts of violence in American schools since 1996 (8 in the last two and a half years)!  Of course, only two of those have been widely reported.  Yesterday Cleveland, Ohio joins the list. 

In a press release by Finn Laursen of Christian Educators Association International he states, “There is a way to turn this trend around.” I fully agree!!  Two years ago after a shooting in Red Lake, Minnesota I wrote the following:

"What if these children had been reached with the message of God's Love and gave their lives to Jesus instead of taking the lives of others?   What if they had received the love of God at an elementary age?   Not only would they still be alive, but also the life of God would have been brought into those communities....instead of the tragedy we are seeing unfold over and over again".  

I've said it before, and I will say it again - it is time for a change.
