Change In KFCUSA Podcast Format Coming |

During the spring semester of the 05-06 school year we launched a "Podcast". Podcasting is a format that is design for the ipod crowd. Basically anyone with a computer and a microphone could produce there own show. We asked a group of Jr. High kids how many of them would subscribe to a podcast of some of the meetings. To my surprise the majority of them raised their hand. Three weeks later we began recording the Jr. High messages and posting them for the world to hear as a podcast. Honestly I was never happy with the show format. I just felt that we could better utilize this medium.
Since we began we have endevoured to be a resource for student and parent sponsors of Bible clubs at the elementary and jr. high school levels. That said our website is filled with information for that purpose. The only thing that didn't fit was this podcast which was aimed at the kids. This is about to change: Starting within the month will be launching the first in a series of shows designed to inspire and inform our listeners about the need to reach this generation now.
The show will be recorded in a local coffee shop in a coversational format with some of our team members, board members, kids, mom's & dad's. My logic is simple. Some of the most powerful statements ever made with regard to KFCUSA have been made in casual conversations, this is just an attempt to capture some of those. I predict it will not only be worth listening to, but maybe even a bit addicting. You will recieve an email notification when we kick off. BE READY!! --bob
